“Volunteer for Hope” Brings Joy to Displaced Children on the Third Day of Eid al-Adha
As part of its ongoing commitment to supporting marginalized and affected communities, Volunteer for Hope Association organized a humanitarian day filled with dignity and joy on the third day of Eid al-Adha, June 8, 2025. The event took place at Al-Muwahhad School in Thanaba, Tulkarem, and targeted children and families displaced from Nur Shams and Tulkarem refugee camps.
The event featured a generous meal for 200 displaced individuals, the distribution of food packages and toys for children, as well as entertaining activities that brought smiles to the faces of children despite the challenging circumstances.
In addition, sacrificial meat was distributed, kindly donated by our brothers and sisters from the Palestinian communities inside the 1948 territories, reflecting deep-rooted solidarity and humanitarian unity among our people.
The Chairwoman of the Board, Ms. Sylvia Abu Laban, extended her heartfelt gratitude to all those who contributed to the success of this initiative—supporters, volunteers, and participants alike—stating:
“Our message has always been, and will remain: Children deserve joy, no matter how tough the crises become.“
This initiative reflects the spirit of giving and solidarity that defines the work of Volunteer for Hope and affirms the belief that true celebrations are those shared with those most in need.
