
With the generous support of Volunteer for Hope Charitable Association, the first football championship was successfully held on August 30, 2024, at the Martyr Yasser Arafat Stadium, affiliated with Ahli ‘Atara Club. The tournament was organized under the supervision of the “Central Championships” football page and featured the participation of 12 teams, with Volunteer for Hope providing the tournament prizes.
The championship was held using the 7+1 format and featured competitive and spirited matches. Deir Nidham Club claimed the championship title, defeating Al-Nabi Saleh Club in the final match. Shaqba Martyrs secured third place after a penalty shootout win over the Martyr Aysar Safi Team.

The president of Ahli ‘Atara Club, Captain Mohammad Khamees (Abu Al-Amir), expressed his sincere gratitude to Ms. Sylvia Abu Libdeh, Chairwoman of the Board of Volunteer for Hope Association, for her generous support of the tournament and her ongoing moral and financial support for Palestinian sports.
He also extended his thanks to the official referees from the Palestinian Football Federation, Referee Qasem Swarka and Referee Mohammad Nassar, for their professional officiating of all matches.
Appreciation was extended to all participating teams for their cooperation and contributions to the event’s success. Special thanks were extended to Captain Iyad Karzon, the tournament organizer, in recognition of his distinguished efforts and long-standing contributions to youth football tournaments, as well as his consistent success in the Palestinian sports arena.
