Implementation of the Sewing and Embroidery Grants –Forsa Economic Empowerment Program
23Mar’25
As part of its ongoing efforts to support and empower beneficiaries through its Economic Empowerment Program, Tatue’ Lel Amal Charitable Association has successfully completed the implementation of the Sewing and Embroidery Projects Group grants, following a comprehensive process of technical evaluation, procurement, and training.
A specialized technical committee was formed to review the tender documents and specifications. Following their evaluation, Baker Tex Company was selected as the approved supplier to provide sewing and embroidery machines for eight beneficiaries within this group. After finalizing the official procedures, a total of 18 machines were delivered, tailored to the specific needs and nature of each project.
Once the equipment was delivered, the full set of grants was successfully implemented. Two training sessions were held at the association’s headquarters on March 11 and 13, 2025, bringing together the beneficiaries and representatives from Baker Tex. These sessions focused on training the participants on how to operate and maintain the machines, while also organizing a clear schedule for the handover process.
During the sessions, official beneficiary and delivery agreements were signed, ensuring mutual commitment and clarity of roles in the implementation of the projects.
This milestone reflects the association’s strategic vision to economically empower women, create new livelihood opportunities, and support the launch of sustainable income-generating projects that enhance living conditions and strengthen women’s roles in their communities.
